AHS Rotary Club member Dave Newman will provide an update on the LIFT Program. LIFT is an acronym that stands for: Listen, Inquire, Facilitate, and Transform. This is the basic process that the LIFT program operates by. LIFT is a District 5960 program focusing on communities suffering from extreme poverty. LIFT puts ownership and advancement from poverty on the community itself. The current area of operations for LIFT is Nicaragua. The Arden Hills/Shoreview Rotary Club invites the community to join us for a hands'-on learning experience. We will have CPR practice dummies and AED devices for you to learn about and practice with in order to be prepared to help out in the event a life-threatening incident occurs. We will meet at Incarnation Lutheran Church from 7:00-8:15 PM on May 14. Please come and bring a friend. There is no charge, but there will be a freewill donation to allow us to purchase an AED for the Play for Patrick Foundation.
