December kicked off with a presentation by Mounds View Students, Cara Bortnem and Nick Isaacson, who attended Camp Enterprise on a scholarship from our club.  They were accompanied at the December 4 meeting by the Mounds View High School teacher Theresa Anderson, who selected them from the applicants.  Each student reported that attending Camp Enterprise was a significant and, perhaps, life altering experience that built their confidence and expanded their horizons.  They were followed by Al Ramos giving his classification talk which summarized his family and professional experiences.  Al's classification is U.S. Army Ranger.  Al explained that Rangers Lead the Way in keeping with the Ranger motto.  He also detailed his experience as an Army officer in overseas assignments, later specializing in north Asia.
For December 11 Colleen Lavin has arranged for Susan Oltman to make a presentation on her experiences as an exchange student to Sri Lanka.  There will be no weekly meetings on December 18 or 25 or on January 1.  The annual holiday party is the evening of December 19 and will be hosted by Past President Kent Peterson.  There will be a club assembly on January 8, 2019 to begin the new year.
Thanks to Bob Freed for arranging some of the programs for November.
