Two projects I recently participated in demonstrated to me why I am a Rotarian. The first, organized by Colleen Lavin, was helping out at the Ronald McDonald House at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. We had plenty of people helping so the work was not overwhelming, but what a relief for those families going through what has to be a terrible time in their lives. The second, organized by Mark Stange, was helping out at Mano A Mano.  We had plenty of help at this event as well. We packed up crutches and walkers that will be used by people with disabilities in Bolivia. Both projects advanced two of the objectives of Rotary - to serve and to advance international goodwill.
