A Global Grant allowed us to purchase 7 sets of earing and hearing care instruments and supplies for 7 different hospitals in Liberia. At each location, one or more nurses completed the 10-month program at the Starkey Hearing Institute in Zambia and are now certified hearing instrument specialists. This project was made possible by the support of 27 Rotary Clubs, individual Rotarians, a Lions Club and The Rotary Foundation. Several equipment manufacturers provided significant discounts and an audiologist donated thousands of ear tips.
