Our Rotary Youth Exchange Student, Nil (pronounced Neal) Maltas, reported last week that he feels very lucky to have been placed with the Wynn family.
Their son Everett, a senior at Mounds View, plays on the varsity soccer team with Nil, and soccer has become an important community for Nil. He says his teammates help him with his English and are very patient when it comes to explaining new vocabulary words teenagers use nowadays, that most of us would not recognize or find in the dictionary.
